I work primarily with men who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally worn down. Some people come to therapy during a clear crisis, while others arrive with a quieter sense that something isn’t right. You might feel anxious about the future, disconnected from yourself or others, weighed down by emotions you don’t fully understand, or exhausted from trying to keep going. Often, it’s not one single issue — it’s the accumulation of stress, pressure, loss, or unmet needs over time.
Clients I work with often describe feeling irritable, numb, low, or constantly on edge. Some are navigating anxiety, depression, anger, shame, addiction, or trauma. Others are struggling with relationship challenges, life transitions, identity questions, or feeling stuck in old patterns that no longer serve them. You don’t need to have everything together — or be falling apart — to seek support.
Many men come to therapy unsure of what to expect or hesitant because therapy hasn’t felt accessible, relatable, or comfortable in the past. If traditional or overly clinical approaches have turned you off, you’re not alone. You may have spent years trying to handle things on your own, minimizing what you’re carrying, or not knowing how to talk about it. While my focus is men’s mental health and men’s issues, I also work with women and couples navigating emotional stress, relationship concerns, addiction, trauma, and major life changes.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in real human connection. I aim to create a space that feels genuine and approachable — not cold, intimidating, or overly clinical. Therapy with me is about having someone in the water with you, helping you understand what’s happening beneath the surface while working toward meaningful, sustainable change.
I work from a holistic, client-centered lens, looking at the full picture of your life — your thoughts, emotions, body, relationships, and lived experiences. I integrate evidence-based approaches with insights from neuroscience, inner healing work, and spiritual counselling when appropriate. Sessions are conversational, practical, and honest, with room for reflection, curiosity, and even humor.
When working with men, I pay close attention to the unique pressures men often carry and how emotions may show up through anger, avoidance, or shutting down. Together, we focus on building emotional awareness, healthier coping strategies, and a stronger sense of self in a way that feels realistic and respectful. I also bring my background in health, fitness, and nutrition into my work, and I am currently completing certification as a Nutritionist through NASM.

Introduction:
Hello and welcome! Seeking support is a courageous step, and I commend you for taking the first step toward prioritizing your mental health. Many men face societal pressures that discourage vulnerability, leaving them feeling isolated in their struggles. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where we can work together to explore your challenges, develop coping strategies, and foster personal growth.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. I strive to tailor my approach to each individual, ensuring that our work together aligns with your personal needs and goals.
I have experience working with individuals navigating career stress, relationship difficulties, self-doubt, and major life transitions. Whether you’re facing internal struggles or external challenges, I am here to help you build resilience, enhance self-awareness, and create meaningful change in your life.
I warmly welcome clients of all backgrounds and identities and am committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive therapeutic environment. If you’re ready to take the next step, I look forward to connecting with you.
