Many men seek therapy when they feel stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, frustrated, or unsure how to move forward. Reaching out for support can feel uncomfortable, especially when you’ve been carrying things on your own. My goal is to provide a warm, non-judgmental space where you can speak openly, feel understood, and explore what’s been weighing on you.
I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative. Together, we’ll develop a deeper understanding of your experiences, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and work toward meaningful, lasting change. I’ll meet you where you are, helping you build insight, develop practical coping skills, and move toward goals that matter to you.
My clinical training in hospital and primary care settings emphasized comprehensive assessment, collaborative treatment planning, and evidence-based care. While my work is primarily grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), I tailor treatment to your individual needs by integrating strategies from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, trauma-informed care, and practical problem-solving approaches.
I don’t believe therapy is about becoming “fixed” or eliminating difficult emotions. Instead, it’s about understanding yourself more fully, reducing the impact of distress, strengthening your resilience, and building a more compassionate relationship with yourself. Together, we’ll focus on helping you reconnect with your values and create a life that feels more meaningful and fulfilling.

Men’s Issues
Many of the men I work with share a common thread: they have become used to holding everything together for everyone else while quietly struggling themselves. On the outside, you may appear capable and in control. Inside, you may feel overwhelmed, disconnected, angry, anxious, or unsure of how much longer you can continue carrying everything alone. You deserve a place where you don’t always have to be the strong one.
Whether you are facing depression, stress, relationship challenges, addiction, grief, trauma, or low self-worth, know that you are not alone. My goal is to create a space where you can finally put some of that weight down, understand what is happening beneath the surface, and begin moving toward the life and relationships you want.
I believe every person has an innate capacity for growth and healing. My role is to walk alongside you with curiosity and compassion while helping you gain new perspectives, break painful patterns, and take meaningful steps toward lasting change.
Reaching out can feel difficult, especially when you are used to handling everything on your own. If you are ready to feel more connected, confident, and in control of your life, I would be honoured to work alongside you. I offer in-person therapy in Hamilton and virtual appointments across Ontario. You can begin with a complimentary 20-minute consultation to see whether working together feels like the right fit.
